I have done a few mods including: Factory Pro velocity stacks, K&N filter, crash bars, tank bra, Cee Bailey tall windshield, Easternbeaver 3 circuit power kit, power socket, GPS power adapter, Tourtech adjustable passenger footpegs, drop dog bones, Dan Vesel luggage guard and storage tube mount, Sargent Gel seat with gel for passenger too. Tires are Michelin Pilot Roads have about 60% left but still have round shoulders. The chain and sprockets are original but still in great shape. I changed the spark plugs about 1000 miles ago and lubed the spark plug boots with dielectric grease to keep them watertight. It has a K&N air filter that still looks brand new today. Ive always used a synthetic oil and Wix filters every 3000 miles.

The only long interstate trip its been on was from Atlanta to Key West and back. I mostly rode in the north Georgia and western Carolina mountains. Ive never taken the bike off road or in water. It still looks new and has no dents, chips or scratches. The paint itself was a three stage Dupont product (base was metallic silver, then orange pearl and last was the clear coat). All painting was done by a professional auto body shop.

The black is a match of the stock front fender. I like things to be original so I used a factory orange color code from a Kawasaki KLV1000 (a rebadged DL1000 not sold in the US). The color never grew on me so I had it painted orange and black. 2006 Suzuki V-Strom 650, I bought this bike from its original owner in 2008.
